The National Par is located within the district boundaries of Beysehir of the province Konya. It is 94 km to Konya and 105 km to Isparta.

Beysehir Lake which is the third biggest lake of Turkey has water of alkaline characteristics. Carp, trout, flower fish, yellow fish, fresh water sea bass, flipper and snakes compose the fauna of the lake. Big and small islands on the lake are important for the waterfowls to build their nests and incubate. The forest of the National park is composed of juniper, black pine, fir, cedar and oak; trees are lined up along the coast of the lake making the coves and bays of Beysehir Lake very beautiful.

The ruins on Kizkalesi island just 3 km away from Yenisarbademli coast belong to Kubadabad Palace Ruins. These buildings came from Seljuk Empire.

There are recreational areas and camping areas in the National Park for the visitors.

It is possible to accommodate in tents and caravans at the points to be allowed by the authorities in the National Park. Beysehir is also an appropriate place to accommodate.
